Composed of <strong data-start=\"513\" data-end=\"541\">high-profile scholars<\/strong>, experts in medieval art history and related disciplines, represents the <strong data-start=\"617\" data-end=\"660\">methodological and intellectual continuity<\/strong> with the work and thought of Professor Mario D'Onofrio.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"751\"><strong data-start=\"728\" data-end=\"751\">Main functions<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"753\" data-end=\"782\">The Committee has the task of:<\/p><ul data-start=\"784\" data-end=\"1350\"><li data-start=\"784\" data-start=\"1379\" data-end=\"1437\">The members of the Scientific Committee are selected for:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1439\" data-end=\"1698\"><li data-start=\"1439\" data-end=\"1560\"><p data-start=\"1441\" data-end=\"1560\">Recognised expertise in the fields of <strong data-start=\"1481\" data-end=\"1560\">medieval art history, archaeology, historical architecture and iconography<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1561\" data-end=\"1618\"><p data-start=\"1563\" data-end=\"1618\">Outstanding scientific activity and academic continuity<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1619\" data-end=\"1698\"><p data-start=\"1621\" data-end=\"1698\">Direct or indirect link to Prof. D'Onofrio's work and teaching<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1700\" data-end=\"1802\">The Committee remains in office for a three-year period and is coordinated by a <strong data-start=\"1766\" data-end=\"1780\">President<\/strong>, elected internally.<\/p><hr data-start=\"1804\" data-end=\"1807\" \/><h3 data-start=\"1809\" data-end=\"1839\"><strong data-start=\"1813\" data-end=\"1839\">A workshop of ideas<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"1841\" data-end=\"2075\">The Scientific Committee is also a <strong data-start=\"1876\" data-end=\"1908\">a place of confrontation and vision<\/strong>, where passion for medieval art is translated into
